Welcome to the home of Queen City Running & Walking Club – now in our 4th year in the Greater Cincinnati area. Whether you are an experienced or novice runner, run/walker or walker, we have a program for you. Our current group membership is over 700 runners & walkers, which simply means that you will have plenty of company out on the roads and during our workouts.

Fall Marathon Training – Running & Run/Walk
Our Fall Marathon Running training kicks off on June 23 (Columbus Marathon) and July 7 (Indy Monumental Marathon) as our goal training races. Though designed for the above races, we can easily cater to those with a different race in mind. We will offer a variety of mid-week workout options - Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at various sites around the Cincinnati & West Chester areas. Saturday mornings will be our primary long run workout, with Sunday morning makeup runs always an option. We will provide “on-course” coach/pace group support, monthly training schedule, planned workout routes, hydration/nutrition stations along routes, safety lights (when needed) and plenty of motivation and support that comes our “team-like” environment. This program is open to experienced and first-time marathoners alike, but we do ask that 5-6 miles is a comfortable distance for you when we start.

Fall Half Marathon Training – Running & Run/Walk
Our Fall Half Marathon Running training kicks off on July 7, with the Urban Bourbon Half in Louisville (October 20), The Queen Bee Half (October 13) and Indy Monumental Half (November 3) as our goal training races. Though designed for the above races, we can easily cater to those with a different race in mind. We will offer a variety of mid-week workout options - Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at various sites around the Cincinnati & West Chester areas. Saturday mornings will be our primary long run workout, with Sunday morning makeup runs always an option. We will provide “on-course” coach/pace group support, monthly training schedule, planned workout routes, hydration/nutrition stations along routes, safety lights (when needed) and plenty of motivation and support that comes our “team-like” environment. This program is open to all levels of runners and run/walkers, whether your first half marathon or one of many. There is no base mileage requirement at the start of this program.

Fall Marathon & Half Marathon Training – Walking
Our Fall Marathon & Half Marathon Walking training begins Saturday, June 23, with Cincinnati’s Queen Bee Half in October as one of our main Fall training races. Though we certainly can alter the training schedule to fit different races/events, this will be our primary fall race. We will offer two workout options each week – Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings – and will utilize a variety of sites in the Greater Cincinnati area. We will provide “on-course” coach/pace group support, monthly training schedule, planned workout routes, hydration/nutrition stations along routes, safety lights (when needed) and plenty of motivation and support that comes our “team-like” environment. Whether you are an experienced or novice walker, we can help provide you with the support you need to reach your goals. There is no base mileage requirement at the start of this program.

GetUp’NGo “Fall 5K/10K” Training Program – Beginning Runners, Run/Walkers & Walkers
Our Summer GetUp’NGo program will begin on Monday, July 30 at 6:30pm at the Queen City Running Store in White Oak and at Hyde Park Methodist Church in Hyde Park.
The GetUp’NGo programs are designed for beginning runners, run/walk and walkers. This group will meet twice weekly – Monday & Thursday evenings at 6:30pm - to help you build up your endurance for the planned “goal” race, which for this program is the Sophie’s Angel 5K & Queen Bee 4-miler. This program is ideal for those just starting out, those wanting to get back into it, and/or those simply looking for a group to train with. We will provide a monthly training schedule, planned workout routes, and pace group coaches to help lead you through each workout session.
