Welcome to the Home of Queen City Running & Walking Club!
We are very excited for the upcoming Fall Training season and hope you consider joining us. The main focus of our group is to help train you, in a comfortable & friendly group setting, for a marathon or half marathon of your choosing. Our current Fall plans are to train for the Monumental Marathon and Half in Indianapolis (November 5) and the Queen Bee Half (October 8), but we can adjust the training to fit additional races as needed.
We offer a wide variety of group options, ranging from our Marathon & Half Marathon Walking Club to our Marathon & Half Marathon Running Club. We cater to all levels of walkers, runners and run-walkers…regardless of pace and experience level. In addition to our variety in groups, we also offer workout options five-days-a-week, which helps those that have a continuously changing schedule.

Fall Marathon & Half Marathon Training – Runners and Run-Walkers
While our Fall Marathon & Half Marathon training is currently underway, it is not too late to join us. We offer training options on 5 of the 7 days each week, all designed to help you prep for your race of choice this coming fall. Though our focus races are the Queen Bee Half (October 8) and the Monumental Marathon & Half Marathon in Indianapolis (November 5), we can easily cater our schedule to fit your race if it differs from one of these dates.

The cost to join is only $80 and includes…
- Tuesday Night Workouts (6:30pm) in Hyde Park/Oakley/Norwood/Newport
- Wednesdays Night Workouts (7:00pm) in Newport/Covington and at the Queen City Store in White Oak
- Thursday Night Social Runs (6:30pm) from Braxton Brewing in Covington
- Saturday Morning Long Runs (7:30am/8:00am) at various locations in the Greater Cincinnati area
- Sunday Makeup Runs (7:30am) from Newport & the Queen City Store in White Oak
In addition to the group workouts, we will provide you a monthly training schedule to follow, nutritional tips, a Queen City technical shirt, social activities & Happy Hours, various race discounts and an enjoyable group to train with.

Fall "GetUp'NGo" 5k/10k Program - Begins August 8
We are putting together our 1 st 5k/10k training program, which will be geared to beginning runners, run/walk and walkers, along with experienced runners who are looking to get back into it. This group will meet twice a week – Mondays at 6:30pm and Thursdays at 6:30pm – with the first session starting on Monday, August 8.
We will be offering two separate sites – The Queen City Running Store in White Oak and Hyde Park Methodist – for our first training season. Our Fall goal races are set for the Sophie’s Angel 5K on Sunday, September 25 and the Queen Bee 4-miler on Saturday, October 8. After these first races, we will turn the focus of the group to training for the Thanksgiving Day 10K Race. We will provide a monthly training schedule and coaches to help lead you through each workout session. Cost is only $40 and includes a QCRC Training shirt, Free pair of Saucony socks, QCR Store Discount, Race Discounts, Team Happy Hour and plenty of social benefits.
