Welcome to the home of Queen City Running &Walking Club – now in our 3rd year in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Whether you are an experienced or novice runner, run/walker or walker, we have a program for you. Our current group membership is just over 600 which means you will have plenty of company out on the roads and during our workouts.

Queen City Running’s 2 nd Annual Thanksgiving Day Run/Walk
Join us as we Run/Walk the “Old Course” on Thanksgiving Thursday at 8:15am! Buses will pick us up at the Convention Center in DT Cincinnati at 7:30am and take us to the Starting Point in Latonia, KY. The route plan is for 6.2 miles and finishes at Plum Street Café in Downtown Cincinnati. We currently have 6 buses reserved which means we have room for 250 people.
Cost is $9 and includes bus transportation, water stops, a unique “Old Course” T-Shirt and an AWESOME way to start your THANKSGIVING DAY! To reserve a spot, click on the registration link below. 

Come join us for the 20th Anniversary of the Flying Pig Marathon in 2018! Below is a list of Training Programs that we will be offering in conjunction with The Pig in the Spring of ’18.

2018 Flying Pig Marathon/Spring Training – Running
Our 2018 Flying Pig/Spring Marathon training begins on Saturday, December 30.  
We anticipate having over 150 Marathon runners for the 2018 Pig Training season, and you are welcome to join us! The organized Marathon workouts will be Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm and on Saturday mornings at 7:00/7:30am, which will take place at various locations in the Cincinnati area. We will also have 2 Half-Marathon workout options also open to Marathon Runners on Tuesdays at 6:30pm (Various Locations), and Wednesdays at 7:00pm (Queen City Running – White Oak).  There will also be a Sunday morning makeup run option available for those unable to join us for the regular sessions.

 2018 Flying Pig Half-Marathon/Spring Training – Running & Run/Walk
Our 2018 Flying Pig/Spring Half-Marathon training begins on Saturday, January 6.
We anticipate having over 400 Half Marathon runners for the 2018 Pig Training season and hope you are one of those who decide to join us! For the Half-Marathon group, our primary workout night will be on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm at various locations in the Cincinnati area, with longer workout options taking place on Saturdays at 8:00/8:30am. In addition, we will have a West-Side workout option at Queen City Running in White Oak on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm.  There will also be a Sunday morning makeup run option available for those unable to join us for the regular sessions.

2018 Flying Pig/Spring Training - Walking
Our 2018 Flying Pig/Spring training for Walkers is scheduled to begin on Saturday, January 6.
We anticipate over 100 walkers for the 2018 Pig Training season and hope you can join us as well! Workout options will be on Wednesdays at 6:30pm and on Saturdays at 7:00am. We will utilize a variety of sites in the Cincinnati area, designed to help prepare you for the 2018 Flying Pig race of your choosing.
Note: We have a small group of Walkers that meet along with our runners on Tuesday nights.

  • Thursday, December 7 (Queen City Running)
  • Monday, December 18 (Hyde Park Methodist Church)
  • Wednesday, December 27 (Queen City Running)

  • Flying Pig / Spring Marathon & Half Marathon Training - $80
  • Full Year Training Option (includes Spring, Summer & Fall Training Seasons) - $175 and includes a $20 Queen City Running Store Gift Certificate! "Early Bird" Full Year Training Signups by December 31 are only $170 and includes a $20 Queen City Running Store Gift Certificate!
  • GetUp’NGo Training (Spring, Summer or Fall) - $40

*All programs include QCR sportswear item, 15% Discount on footwear/accessories, Happy Hours, social functions, race discounts and much, much more!
