Welcome to Queen City Running Club’s “Running Page”. This is where we post the majority of our running-relevant information throughout the year. 

You can register  using a credit or debit card. We will also be accepting in-person registrations once training begins at our scheduled workout times & locations. 


Hyde Park Blast/Pray~Hope~Believe Training – Runners & Run/Walkers
This program will begin on Saturday, May 13 and meet regularly on Tuesdays at 6:30pm, Wednesdays at 7:00pm and on Saturdays at 8:00am. We will also offer “optional Thursday” evening workouts. Our meeting sites include Oakley, Hyde Park, Norwood, Newport, Covington, DT Cincinnati and from our store in White Oak. This program is designed as a follow-up to our Pig training season, focusing on shorter distance & speed training in preparation of some local 5k races. For this season, our two featured races are the Hyde Park Blast (June 24) and the Pray~Hope~Believe 5k (July 4). Though shorter in distance, many of our members welcome the change to quicker, more intense workouts. This is also a great option for those new or just getting back into running or walking.

GetUp’NGo “Summer-Fall” 5K/10K Training Programs – Beginning Runners & Run/Walkers
Our Summer GetUp’NGo program will begin on Thursday, May 11 at 6:30pm at the Queen City Running Store in White Oak. The GetUp’NGo programs are designed for beginning runners, run/walk and walkers. These groups will meet twice weekly – Monday & Thursday evenings at 6:30pm - to help you build up your endurance for the planned “goal” race. This program is ideal for those just starting out, those wanting to get back into it, and/or those simply looking for a group to train with. We will provide a monthly training schedule and coaches to help lead you through each workout session.
*Fall session is scheduled to begin on July 31 and will be geared towards the Sophie’s Angel 5K & Queen Bee 4-mile

Fall Marathon & Half Marathon Training – Running
Our Fall Marathon & Half Marathon Running training kicks off on July 1 (marathon) and July 8 (half marathon), with the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon in November and The Queen Bee Half in October as our goal training races. Though designed for the above races, we can easily cater to those with a different race in mind. We will offer a variety of mid-week workout options (2 on Tuesday and 2 on Wednesday) at various sites around the Greater Cincinnati area. On Saturday mornings, we will combine groups for our long run workout. We will provide “on-course” coaches, routes, hydration stations, safety lights and motivation and support that come from a “team-like” environment. Sunday makeup long runs also provided.
